Biking In Wetlands & Wall Of Tears

In the morning we will go to test bikes, sizes, recommendations for use to begin our adventure to a historical monument of Isabela Island, where history and nature are intertwined.

We will start by visiting the wetlands and its impressive landscapes of brackish lagoons, known for their fascinating color changes from green to pink throughout the day and home to the elegant flamingos.


Beaches with different personalities await you. Explore Playa del Amor, where iguanas bask in the sun and the sand glistens with pearly shells. Estero Beach looks like something out of a fairy tale, hidden among colossal mangroves.

Here you will see a small stream of crystal clear water emerging from the sand and connecting with the ocean that invites you to wade out into the open sea. Keep an eye out for baby reef fish hidden among the mangroves, sea turtles basking in the calm waters and the occasional appearance of sea lions and penguins.

The trail is also home to a variety of wildlife, from wild giant tortoises to large iguanas weighing up to 40 pounds.

Along the way you may spot lava lizards, finches, yellow warblers, towering Opuntia cacti and charismatic mockingbirds, and learn about the island’s poignant past. and learn about the island’s touching past.
