Mosquera Islet
Mosquera is a small but charming island in the Galapagos Islands and a wonder of nature.
Located between North Seymour Island and the Baltra Islands, it is characterized by a flat sandy terrain and unique geological features.
With an area of only 0.06 square kilometers and a maximum altitude of 1.98 meters, Mosquera is one of the smallest islands in the archipelago, but it has enormous advantages over other islands in terms of biodiversity and natural beauty.
It is famous for its great variety of wildlife. This is home to one of the largest colonies of sea lions in Galapagos, and their amusing antics entertain visitors.
The island’s beaches and waters are also home to rare and fascinating birds, such as the lava gull, considered the rarest species of gull.
