Sierra Negra Volcano

In the morning in a vehicle we will go to the high part of Isabela, until the end of the road.
Here, we will begin an uphill hike.

During the hike we will be able to admire landscapes of incredible contrast between the volcanoes and the sea, to finally reach the edge of the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano, the second largest active volcanic caldera in the world.
We will walk around this enormous crater of 30 square miles.

It is time to hydrate and serve a box lunch to regain energy and for the more “trekkers”, we can continue walking a descent to Volcán Chico, a place with a unique landscape in which red, orange, yellow and black dyes merge.
Here you can observe fumaroles and spectacular lava formations.
